QuoteWerks has many useful features, but one often overlooked feature is the ability to reduce the inventory amount once a quote is converted to an order. When a product is used in a quote and then converted to an order, QuoteWerks will ask you if you would like to allocate inventory for this order. This option will only work if you have allocated the availability of the item in the product database, but it is a very helpful feature for many businesses.
Another great feature of QuoteWerks is the ability to keep the sales and accounting separate. There are many security issues with allowing all the sales reps to have access to the accounting software. Also, using QuoteWerks to complement QuickBooks allows businesses to keep QuickBooks clutter free of quotes and part numbers that never became orders.
QuoteWerks is far different from most software companies. Although many software companies offer “updates” to their product, those updates are usually just fixes. However, QuoteWerks updates are actual feature updates based on customer requests. Usually three to four times a year QuoteWerks releases a new update which adds features and enhances integrations with the newest editions of the contact managers and accounting software systems. This makes QuoteWerks unique in that it is a constantly evolving product which adds new features to improve functionality every three to four months. QuoteWerks takes all customer requests very seriously and we try to implement as many as possible.
